Mastsystem
Mastsystem provides a complete range of telescopic masts for mobile communication systems as well as all the accessories and ancillaries required for optimum performance. These include items for setting up the masts, guy reels, winches, antenna adaptors, extension tubes, single and double rotators, tilters, rotator-tilters with torque arms, tilter-polarizers, winch power units and mounting kits for vehicles and containers. Mastsystem manufactures four different mast models, namely TM, TR, EX and EXL, and has realized hundreds of different solutions - from plain masts incorporating erecting systems to complete mast transporting, handling and directing systems. All masts meet the environmental requirements of MIL-STD 810 and Mastsystem conforms to ISO 9001 and AQAP 110. TELESCOPIC MASTSThe lightweight telescopic masts are designed to meet the most demanding requirements of mobile communication systems. The masts are applicable to such areas as defence, the police, geodetic surveying, radio and TV emergency work and temporary illumination.Mast sections are made of pultruded composite tubes of carbon fiber and/or glass fiber, with plastic, light metal and stainless steel fittings. Each mast is rotatable by 360° and can be locked in any position whilst mechanical stops prevent overhoisting. Standard mast sections are green with black fittings although other colours are available on request. Every mast detail and guy assembly is designed to resist external forces and to ensure quick and safe operation. The masts perform excellently in arctic and tropical areas, as well as in desert environments.TM MASTSThe TM model is for heights up to 8m and top loads up to 3kg. The masts are erected vertically by pushing up and locking each telescopic section by means of friction between telescopic joints and tubes.TR MASTSThe TR model is for heights up to 12m and top loads of less than 7kg. The masts are erected vertically by pushing up and locking each telescopic section. Locking is achieved with a clamp locked under the stop ring of each section. At heights of up to 7m the mast can be supported with a tripod without guying. The mast is pulled out horizontally to its full length and then erected to the vertical position.EX MASTSThe EX model is made in three series; the EX105 for heights between 8m and 15m with top loads of 25kg to 30kg, the EX128 for heights between 8m and 24m with top loads of 20kg to 50kg and the EX141 for heights between 18m and 30m with top loads of 25kg to 40kg. These masts are deployed by one or two persons and elevated with a handcranked winch. The tubes move inside each other on guide ways, which prevents the individual sections from turning and keeps the mast itself stationary. The mast is rotatable by 360° and can be locked in any position. The EXA models have an autoguy system and can be turned ±30°.EXL MASTSThe EXL model is made in two series; the EXL167 for heights between 15.5m and 30m with top loads of 50kg to 70kg and the EXL195 for heights between 24m and 51m with top loads of 50kg to 75kg. These masts are deployed by one or two persons and elevated with a handcranked winch. Masts are operated by means of a handcranked, or optionally, an electrically driven winch. The mast has latches on each section to unload the lifting belt when at its full height and also to enable the mast to be guyed, section by section, during the elevation. army-technology.com |
