Comm Port Technologies
If your premises require securing, install the Under-Vehicle Surveillance System (UVSS) from CommPort. The CommPort UVSS is designed to scan, monitor, and digitally record crisp, clear digital-video images of the entire width of a vehicle's underside - all with one permanent or portable system.COMPLETE UNDER-VEHICLE MONITORING SYSTEMCareful integration of components makes the under-vehicle surveillance system a cost-effective and convenient solution for checking passenger vehicles, vans, buses, semi-tractor truck and trailers, and more. It is the ideal component whenever complete vehicle monitoring is required.UNDER-VEHICLE EXPLOSIVES DETECTIONAdvanced digital camera imaging and LED illumination provides clear, high-resolution video of the vehicle's underside to help detect attached packages, explosives, and other objects.VEHICLE-UNDERSIDE SURVEILLANCE AND MONITORINGImages are processed by a monitoring system that is capable of recording and playing simultaneously. The UVSS monitoring system cost-effectively delivers the full picture of a vehicle's entire width.Applications:Government buildingsMilitary installationsEmbassy compoundsTransportation controlIndustrial sitesFinancial institutionsOffice buildingsCasinos, stadiums and hotelsResidential complexes / palacesRUGGED INSPECTION RAMPThe Comm Port UVSS system includes a complete array of integrated and tested components and accessories. The unique heavy-duty galvanized-steel rugged inspection ramp can withstand weight of up to 48t from stationary or mobile vehicles. For wider roads or multiple lanes, steel ramp sections can be easily added. The camera and lights are all enclosed within the ramps, eliminating the need to construct or bury the cameras in the ground, or dig a pit for installing a metal box in which to house it.Unlike line-scan systems, the Comm Port UVSS is a real-time solution, with no grayscale or B / W line-scan images to compare. It shows exactly what your natural eyes would see, and there is no time delay for the images to appear or need for an expensive image-processing computer system. The ramps can be mounted with either a permanent-control cabling system or a portable control system. The length of the ramps can be customized to the lane width.LONG-LIFE COLOR CAMERASEach UVSS ramp contains high-resolution, waterproof, color-video cameras. Each camera incorporates a scratch-resistant sapphire-crystal lens in a waterproof housing.Cameras can be individually angled. The fixed-focus lens operates between 0.5in and 50ft for maximum depth of field.ADVANCED MONITORING SYSTEMDesigned as a stand-alone system that can simultaneously output real-time video with an advanced codec algorithm, the Comm Port UVSS delivers a high-resolution video feed to NTSC or PAL monitors. Images can be stored on a local or network hard-drive, and timed and dated. You can view up to four different cameras and stitch the video together as one landscape view for viewing. To the human eye it appears as one screen, of four different camera-angles, displaying a single vehicle-undercarriage. You can also compare previous and current images of the same vehicle on a single screen. The Comm Port UVSS advanced monitoring system incorporates a License Plate Recognition (LPR) system, enabling you to create an approved-vehicle list. The detection-assembly system is high-definition, with night-vision and colored plates for different regions and languages. Special filters are incorporated in the LPR assembly for different intensity plates. The Comm Port UVSS is simple to install single-handedly, with no cooling or heating ducting required, even in extreme temperature regions. The default version possesses flat-screen LCD monitors, and the industrial version LCD screens. Each camera incorporates very bright, long-life lights, ensuring successful imaging in extreme low-light conditions. Variable-intensity lighting prevents condensation or fog within the camera / lighting enclosure. The Comm Port UVSS provides 10,000lm of light with 100,000 hours of operational guarantee. All illumination is through LEDs rather than halogens, reducing expensive maintenance and eliminating the necessity of frequent replacement.A single, 20m (65ft) waterproof and weather-rated control cable is included. The distance between the ramp and control unit should not exceed 300m (984ft). Connectors are sealed, weather-resistant MIL-C-5015 type. Optional fiber-optic transmission systems for long distances are available.

Macroswiss
Macroswiss is a military security and surveillance company, with a well established product line in highly specialised electro-optical based, and wireless implemented equipment, for special forces and specialist police.Macroswiss S.A. was founded in 1999, operating in research, development and the application of high technology, the most important of which is robotics. It is a contractor to major defence agencies, and has a good history of professional and secure projects. The company is independently ISO9001 registered and specialises in the design, development, manufacture and supply of equipment and systems for close combat and situational awareness. Involvement in joint ventures with large and well-established international defence companies has provided a broad base of experience and capability in program management.CLOSE COMBAT SENSOR SYSTEMSMacroswiss specialises in the provision of sensor systems for close combat, the provision of a preview of enclosed spaces capability, the key markets for which are special forces, future soldier programmes and specialist police agencies. Our solutions provide:Sensor systems for close combat.Preview of enclosed spaces.Clear ID of enemy and non combatants before assault, or entry. All informed, situational awareness for commanders and operators.Multiple networked sensors.UNATTENDED GROUND SURVEILLANCE VEHICLESThe SpyRobot 4WD system is capable of close target surveillance and reconnaissance of high risk and difficult to access targets. Providing live imagery and audio information, on a 5kg, multi-terrain platform that can deliver a sensor capability where personnel cannot reach.Micro Spyrobot 4WD is a UGV platform typically used in applications of a tactical scope. The small 1kg platform will perform very well in broken terrain and grass. GUNCAM - ROUND THE CORNER GUN CAMERAGunCam provides a 'round the corner' capability for pistols and assault weapons, allowing the soldier / operator to expose the weapon, observe and engage targets form the relative safety of cover.SPYEYE - WIRELESS NETWORKED SURVEILLANCE CAMERA SYSTEMSpyeye cameras provide a rapid deployment networked wireless camera system for applications such as VIP protection, siege scenarios, also force and asset protection. Multiple wireless networked colour / low light cameras with an audio capture capability can be monitored from a central man-portable receiver unit with Video Motion Detection (VMD).SRTC - SHORT RANGE THROWING CAMERAThe Short Range Throwing Camera (SRTC) provides a soldier with the capability of rapidly deploying a short range camera which transmits visual information to the soldier once deployed during operations and provides a real-time viewpoint from the target of obstacles, non combatants and enemy fire being faced.GIRAFFEGiraffe is a world-beating solution that provides a stand-off EO capability for use in MOUT scenarios, search operations, and force protection. This camera on a stick solution, provides ground forces with an off-axis viewing camera, allowing observation from a position of safety.ACCS - ADVANCED COMBAT CAMERA SYSTEMAdvanced Combat Camera System (ACCS) can be provided in a wireless or wired configuration. As a wireless device, commanders and other team members can view the imagery product of the ACCS, easing the process of 'in contact' briefing. This 21st Century 'trench periscope' allows the soldier to understand the layout of the room or space, see who is where, and if they are armed combatants, or unarmed civilians.CLAYMORE CAMERAThe Claymore camera system places a camera on the Claymore mine. This allows its deployment in dead ground and on likely approaches to a defensive position, increasing the defensive field of fire for a patrol on a halt, a unit in defence, observation posts, and or border or other linear targets.HELMET CAMThe helmet mounted camera unit requirement is for the transmission of useful visual and audio information from team members to the commander during operations when the soldiers are outside the field of view of the commander, in particular when fighting in built-up areas, or on urban patrols, and or police type operations that military forces are often drawn into such as crowd control and civil disorder. In these scenarios the helmet cam maintains a link between the soldier and commander when becoming separated is a characteristic of such operations.
